Editorial Review for Attitash Bear Peak – by Citysearch Editors
The Scene
What it lacks in charm, the resort makes up for in entertainment options. Nightlife is available at many of the local pubs just down the road. Attitash's Grand Summit Hotel offers a year-round outdoor pool and massages for apres-ski relaxation. There's also a "family fun" center for kids.
The Slopes
If you visited Attitash before and didn't like it, give it another try. The Bear Mountain area, with its high-speed detachable quad, has more lifts and more than 200 acres of good skiing. The grooming and snowmaking are top-notch. Runs such as Tim's Trauma will give most skiers the thrill they drive three hours north to find.

User Reviews for Attitash Bear Peak

The resort was OK, but it could have been much better. I found it way too icy; about half of the mountain was covered in ice. I was surpised, since the other American Skiing Company resorts I have visited were all excellent (Sunday River, Killington, Sugarloaf, Steamboat), but this one needs some work.
Pros: Good Size
Cons: Crowded, Very Icy
